Several events are planned throughout the year to reach out to the community including: the annual Block Party, media outreach projects, annual Golf Outing, drama productions, musical presentations and more. We also provide an annual drama production entitled, "His Last Week...30A.D." as an ongoing ministry to our community. This production is enjoyed by over 500 individuals each year. Our church dramatizes the meaning of the scriptures through musical and theatrical productions. These productions are open to all. Our church also participates in American Cancer Society's "Relay for Life" fundraiser each year. We offer opportunities to serve in Hospitality Ministries which, among other things, provides greeters for special events and a Welcome Center with coffee and tea from 10:00am to 10:45am each Sunday. Health Ministries is one of our newest
ministries that attempts to care for a persons' body and spirit. Our
Health Ministries will off blood pressure screenings and seminars on
timely topics (living wills, prescription drugs, etc.). More information
in this area will be available as it becomes organized. |
