Upward Basketball and Cheerleading promotes character and self-esteem in every child by providing:

Equal playing time for every player
A one-hour practice and game each week of the season
An evaluation process to provide equal opportunity for improvement
Each player signs up as an individual, not as a group or a team
Separate leagues for boys for boys and girls

Emphasis is placed on Christ-likeness and good sportsmanship, not championships and trophies.

Early-bird registration is through October 14, 2008. Cost per child for basketball is $50.00 Optional basketball shorts are $13.00. Every player receives:

Upward Basketball reversible jersey
Upward Basketball t-shirt
Upward Basketball car magnet
End of season award

Cost per child for cheerleading is $53.00. Optional mock turtleneck is $13. Every Cheerleader will receive:

Upward Cheerleading uniform
Two cheer poms and megaphone
Upward Cheerleading car magnet
Upward hair ribbon
End of season award

After October 14, 2008, the price increases $10 for each player or cheerleader. Late registration is through October 17. Full scholarships are available and multi-child discounts ($10.00 discount after first child) are available. A child can play basketball and cheer. A $10.00 discount will be offered to a child who is participating in both programs.
